What inside Total ZEN?
All of the ingredients in Total ZEN are:
- Free from synthetics and stimulants
- Evidence-based
- Supported by scientific human trials
Here is how each individual ingredient can help…
Vitamin B6 (3mg)
Vitamin B6 is essential for many of the body’s most vital functions, like energy metabolism, red blood cell function, and neurotransmitter creation.[1] It’s especially important for neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine and GABA, which are responsible for regulating emotions, mood and sleep.
Low levels of B6 can leave you feeling mentally and physically sluggish, and even depressed.[2] Luckily, Total ZEN contains 3mg of vitamin B6 per serving, more than twice your daily requirement.
Zinc (10mg)
Zinc is the second-most abundant mineral in your body,[3] involved in everything from immune health and nerve function to metabolism and digestion. Deficiency can lead to digestive issues, mood disturbance and immune impairment,[4] leaving you tired, unfocused and vulnerable to illness.
When you’re trying to perform at your best, that’s exactly what you don’t want! Make sure you’re getting enough zinc with Total ZEN, with 10mg per serving.
Magnesium Citrate (150mg)
Involved in over 300 processes in the body, magnesium is absolutely vital for healthy heart, nerve, muscle, bone and brain function. Despite this, many of us aren’t getting nearly enough.[5] This can cause fatigue, interfere with healthy sleep patterns, and even contribute to mental illness, osteoporosis and heart disease.
Magnesium supplements can help, but not all are created equal! Total ZEN features magnesium citrate, shown to be one of the most superior, bioavailable forms of magnesium.[6] For you, that means higher absorption and much better value for money.
Ashwagandha (KSM-66) (250mg)
This ancient herb is known as “the king of Ayurvedic medicine”, and for good reason! Among its many benefits, ashwagandha has been proven to reduce levels of cortisol, AKA the stress hormone.[7][8] Studies have also found that it reduces symptoms of anxiety and promotes better sleep.[8][9] There’s also evidence to show that ashwagandha can improve your memory, attention and task performance,[10][11] helping you to feel mentally sharp and focused.
Lion’s Mane (200mg)
Lion’s Mane has been a staple in Asian medicine for centuries thanks to its many cognitive benefits. It supports learning and memory by increasing nerve growth factor in the brain, stimulating neuron growth, and strengthening your neural pathways.[12][13]
Lion’s Mane is rich in antioxidants, thought to protect your body and brain by reducing oxidative stress, inflammation and cellular destruction.[14][15] It also has lots of wider health benefits, like reducing anxiety[16] and lowering heart disease risk.[17][18]
Bacopa extract (55%) (100mg)
Bacopa monnieri is an Ayurvedic favourite that’s proving to be a powerful nootropic. Several studies have found that it can improve neuron communication and boost key brain functions like learning, memory, attention, and various types of information processing.[19][20] It’s also been shown to help build resilience to stress,[21] reduce levels of cortisol (the stress hormone)[22] and relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression.[23]
L-theanine (100mg)
Multiple studies show that this amino acid relaxes your mind, promotes alertness, and reduces stress and anxiety.[24][25][26]
